Abortion

Yes, a controversial subject, one in which the answer is as plain as day.  Life begins at conception.  A fertilized egg is a growing organism, with human DNA.  This is the definition of a human life, and all humans are endowed with inalienable rights of LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I am not a man who wants to take control of women, I just pay attention to facts.  By the way, isn’t it strange that people want others to stay our of their personal lives, (bedrooms), but want us to pay for what goes on in there?  As a business owner, why should I be FORCED to pay for contraceptives (or abortions, as Mrs Clinton would have liked) via subsidized health insurance.

But I digress.  Not only is abortion an affront on humankind, it has created what Blessed Pope John Paul II referred to as the Culture of Death.  Three generation now have witnessed the destruction of human life in the womb.  Is there any wonder why there is so much disrespect for human life in our culture?  Shootings of young teens in Chicago don’t make the front page anymore, they are too common.  How can we tell our young people to stop killing each other when we, as adults, take the life of the most innocent of humans- a million times a year?

Lets use some common sense.  Stop the abortions, stop euthanasia and we will see a kinder, gentler nation.

A Nation of Victims

It seems as time goes on, more and more groups consider themselves to be victims, or so we are led to believe.  I listen to Progressive (liberal) radio stations from time to time.  They believe in dozens of “victim” groups.  Blacks, Hispanics, Gays, Transgendered, the list goes on and on.  Then those who disagree are labeled “Racist” or “homophobe” or “Deplorables”

Are all these people really victims?  Not in my point of view.  I think the way your treat others speaks largely about your point of view.  If one hold his fellow man in high regards, does he not assume that everyone does the same?

I think the liberal side of the government encourages us to think of certain groups at victims.   It makes it easy to create laws to help these “victims” , creating entitlements for voters who will be forever grateful.   Those types in the government crave power.  They need these “victim” groups in order to retain power.

All the big cities have been ruled by liberal(Democrat) mayors for decades.  Have they really helped those considered “victims” in their cities?  Yet they get re-elected term after term after term.  Heck, Secretary Clinton didn’t even visit Illinois this past year.  She took our votes for granted.

Let us all look at one another as Americans.  Be respectful, and help one another.  There are no victim groups, just people of different colors, creeds, orientations.
